The Caine Prize 2023

Project Coordinator

For the Caine Prize, I joined the team as a project coordinator to ensure all Writer’s Week activities were a success.

This included RSVP and guest list management, ensuring all guests were well informed of ongoings during the Caine Prizes week and Award Ceremony.

Writer’s Week events included an intimate Publisher’s luncheon with the Caine Prize Shortlisted Writers meeting and engaging with UK based publishers and agents.

A celebration of writing with partners WritersMosaic hosted readings from the Caine Prize for African Writing Shortlist and the diverse Diasporan community of WritersMosaic

A panel discussion at Africa Writes festival and a roundtable brunch event pulling together mutlidisciplinary creatives from across London chaired by Caine Prize Trustee Bukola Akinyemi

Social Media Management

Leading the Artisans Advisory Team, we also led content creation for all digital touchpoints including instagram, tiktok, LinkedIn. A key priority for this was to ensure the Caine Prize community around the world followed all activities from Writer’s arrival to the award announcement.

This included content creation for summary days, and for the week that was a highlight for the award ceremony to wrap up the week full of activity the Shortlisted Writers had in London
